30" Cocktail Table (Tall)
Standard Dimensions: 30" across x 42" high
Barrel Dimensions: 24" across x 36" high
The proper linen for this table is tricky, and requires a choice. Do you prefer the linen to hang just a little bit short of the ground, or to be a little long and puddle up around the base? If the former, use a 108" round and it will be 3" up from the floor (we would say this is correct). Barrels do not take linen.
The 120" round puddles around the base of the table with about 3" of extra material on each side. Sometimes this is a preferred look when a more luxurious linen is used; it gives a feeling of weight to the tables. This is easily solved by rolling the excess under itself if you end up not liking it.
If you are using a traditional linen with a sash tied around the middle of the post (making an hourglass shape), we suggest ordering a 132" round linen instead of a 108" or 120". You will need the extra length make the hourglass shape and if you use a 120" linen the legs of the cocktail table will show. The 132" linen will leave enough extra at the bottom to flare all the way over the legs.
Also, you can order these cocktail tables with Spandex covers that give a clean, modern, fitted look. The spandex covers have no excess material. You can keep the tops straight for a smooth spandex hourglass, or twist the tops to give the spandex a dynamic, twisted look.
Easily the most popular table we rent, the 30" cocktail table is not to be confused with the 30" Round (Cabaret) Table. The cocktail table is for standing (at 42" bar height), the cabaret is for sitting. This table is popular when just drinks are landing on the table. If you are having small bites where a guest would be holding a plate and fork as well, consider a 36" Cocktail Table. This is a three-piece table (base + pole + top) that easily fits in any car or truck, making it a popular pickup item.
